Research methods related to improving pediatric health equity and outcomes
Artsy Navon's global health work addresses health disparities by identifying inequities in pediatric care and developing quality improvement programs to reduce gaps related to race, ethnicity, age, gender, primary language, SES, and other social determinants of health. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Navon's future research interests include the impacts of climate change on health, particularly through the lens of environmental epidemiology, as well as strategies to develop and increase access to preventive health programs for women and children living in developing countries.
