Reshaping gynecologic care with minimally invasive surgery and training
Zoe Zimmer’s global health focus is on women’s health, with emphasis on the surgical management of benign gynecologic conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, leiomyoma, infertility, adnexal masses, and pain. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Zimmer’s research aims to improve the uptake of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, focusing on capacity building and enhanced recovery for surgical patients.
