Andy Jones, PhD

Climate change, sustainability, and food systems

Andy Jones’s global work focuses on the relationship between climate change impacts, food systems, and healthy diets. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Jones’s research investigates the role of biodiversity in agricultural systems in promoting sustainable and healthy diets. He examines how food value chains and food environments impact diet and health outcomes in vulnerable communities in low- and middle-income countries.
