Sexual and reproductive health, and population and environment dynamics

Dirgha Ghimire’s global work focuses on the inter-relationship between population and environmental dynamics. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Ghimire’s research uses social demography and other social research methods to examine the relationship among social context, social change, family organization, and marriage arrangement. He has worked extensively in South Asia.
