Julia Kramer, PhD

Equitable design process, design theory and methods, reproductive health access

Julia Kramer's research focuses on engineering and design approaches to support social justice and promote equity, particularly through the development and investigation of products, services, and systems that improve access to global health care. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women and communities, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and designing technical solutions for health equity. Her work primarily focuses on sexual and reproductive health, including improving access to cervical cancer screening and to contraceptive information, products, and follow-up support.
