Global health and equity, personalized medicine, and maternal & child health

Luis Martinez's global work focuses on improving maternal and child health, advancing personalized medicine for chronic diseases, and addressing the impacts of COVID-19 and long-term COVID-19 on global health systems and vulnerable populations. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and developing technical solutions. Martinez's research investigates early childhood development, the application of personalized medicine to chronic diseases, and the effects of COVID-19 and long-term COVID-19 on health systems and vulnerable populations.
