Gender-based violence prevention and response

Michelle Munro-Kramer’s global work focuses on gender-based violence prevention and response, primarily among college-age youth, within domestic and international contexts. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of empowering women and communities. And her research projects approach these topics using a trauma-informed and patient-centered lens. She uses mixed methods and participatory-action research to understand the experiences of vulnerable populations in order to inform innovative future intervention development.
