Behavioral health in schools and community health settings
Shawna Smith’s global work focuses on improving healthcare outcomes by enhancing evidence-based practices and policies, as well as bridging gaps in access to care using innovative and non-traditional strategies. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health and strengthening systems for health. Smith’s work focuses on implementing behavioral health initiatives in schools and community health centers by using adaptive sequences of implementation support tailored to organizational context.
