Implications of inequities, particularly among ethnic and racial subgroups

Sherri Sheinfeld Gorin’s global work focuses on the implications of inequities, particularly among ethnic and racial subgroups, in cancer prevention, screening, and treatment outcomes for cervical, breast, colorectal, and prostate cancers, and the implementation of multi-level, theory-based, interventions to reduce cancer-related health disparities in diverse subgroups world-wide. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health, and providing technical solutions. Her research interests include cancer prevention interventions and cancer screening in racially/ethnically diverse communities.
