Payal Patel’s global work focuses on developing antimicrobial stewardship programs globally to increase antimicrobial resistance. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems for health. Patel’s research focuses on hospital-acquired infections, antimicrobial stewardship, and the impact of health policy relating to infection control and hospital epidemiology.
