Prashant Mahajan’s global work focuses on optimizing clinician decision making in the emergency department to enhance patient and health system outcomes and improve healthcare safety and quality. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health and providing technical solutions. Mahajan is the chair of the Emergency Medicine Education & Research by Global Experts (EMERGE), a global emergency medicine research network, which allows him to partner and work with multiple countries on healthcare efforts.
