Sarah Compton, PhD, MPH

Women’s reproductive health

Sarah Compton’s global work focuses broadly on women’s reproductive justice and health outcomes. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and strengthening systems for health. Compton’s work centers especially on women and their ability to access and use their preferred method of contraception, as well as engage in healthy relationships, free from violence. Ultimately, her research aims to improve women's ability to make informed family planning decisions under fair and just circumstances.
