Abigail Dumes, PhD

Gender and complex chronic conditions
Abigail A. Dumes is a cultural and medical anthropologist whose global health work focuses on gender, complex chronic conditions, infectious disease, and environmental health, with a particular focus on Long COVID and Lyme disease. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health.
