Health systems strengthening and healthcare delivery in developing contexts

Achyuta Adhvaryu’s global work focuses on healthcare access and delivery. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Adhvaryu’s work includes enhancing the quality of private providers to compensate for weak public healthcare systems and creating a sustainable business model for healthcare interventions delivered through large firms to low-income populations. His research examines the determinants and long-term consequences of mental health and early childhood health within low-resource settings.
