Occupational and environmental exposures
Alfred Franzblau’s global health work focuses on assessing occupational and environmental exposures and their adverse health implications in low-resource settings. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Franzblau’s research examines both occupational and environmental lung disease and evaluation of chemical exposures in the workplace and general environment, as well as work-related musculoskeletal disorders.
