Alauddin Ahmed's global work focuses on solving pressing problems related to energy and the environment. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of designing technical solutions for health equity and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. He is engaged in developing innovative approaches based on scientific computing and interpretable ML and AI that are transferable to improve healthcare. His current collaborations include the design of AI-based drug molecules and the development of responsible AI systems for understanding causal reasoning in the healthcare sector.
