Angela Johnson, PhD, MA

Multidisciplinary, maternal and infant health equity, qualitative research methods

Angela Johnson's global work focuses on enhancing equitable mental and social health and well-being for pregnant women and families with young children through a multidisciplinary approach in Ecuador and the United States. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women, strengthening systems, and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Johnson's research involves program design, development, community-engaged research, teaching, and training in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. She aims to shape child and family health programs that enhance physical, mental, and developmental well-being.
