Maternal and perinatal health solutions in low-resource setting

"Alim Swarray-Deen's global work focuses on advancing maternal and perinatal health by improving outcomes for mothers and newborns, primarily in low-resource settings across Sub-Saharan Africa. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and developing technical solutions. Swarray-Deen's research implements cutting-edge clinical practices to tackle health challenges in maternal and perinatal care. Specializing in advanced ultrasonography, his initiatives have significantly enhanced prenatal care protocols, contributing to measurable reductions in maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. These efforts not only improve individual health outcomes but also support the sustainable development of healthcare infrastructure in underserved communities."
