Emmanuel Bizimungu's global work focuses on interventions for improving management, including governance of local organizations to enhance the delivery of quality health services. His interests in global health equity align with the Center’s thematic priorities of strengthening systems to improve health and health equity and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Bizimungu's work involves randomized controlled trials in developing countries including Uganda. His other interests include nutrition, women's empowerment, and service provider-recipient relationships.
