Curriculum development and intervention strategies to reduce oral health disparities
Carlos Gonzalez-Cabezas’s global health work focuses on reducing oral health disparities through education and sustainable intervention programs. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems for health. His research focuses on the mechanisms of dental caries progression and their clinical management. Gonzalez-Cabezas plays a key role in curriculum development for cariology in both the domestic and international spaces.
