Christine Nelson’s global work focuses on children who have eye cancer or are born with one or no eyes. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of determining social and environmental determinants of health and empowering women and communities. Her research areas align with histological studies of the muscles of the eyelids and oncology of the lid and orbit.
