Educational improvement through equitable access to professional learning for teachers
Donald Freeman’s global work focuses on how systemic and local access to professional learning for teachers contributes to educational improvement for students and communities. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's theme that addresses social and environmental determinants of health. Freeman’s research examines how the development and support of teacher knowledge, particularly in the interrelationship between teacher learning and systemic educational change, furthers student learning.
