Gary Freed, MD, MPH

Gary Freed’s global health work focuses on the variation in care provided to children based on the components of a nation’s healthcare system. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, strengthening systems for health, and providing technical solutions. Freed’s research examines child health services, health policy, and health economics within specific national health systems. His research also examines physician behavior and physician decision-making to help understand inequities in care provision and services for children.
