Robert (Bob) Gilman, MD, DMD

Robert Gilman’s global work focuses on specialized surgical care. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of providing technical solutions. Gilman’s research aims to improve care delivery and health outcomes for specialized surgical care for hereditary, congenital, traumatic and disease related deformities. For two decades, he has led teams of medical and surgical professionals—including plastic surgery residents, pediatric fellows, medical students, and support personnel—to Colombia.
