Gifty Kwakye, MD, MPH

Colorectal cancer screening and treatment, surgery

Gifty Kwakye's global work focuses on tackling colorectal cancer screening and addressing treatment outcomes amongst populations in Africa but also immigrants here in the US. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s theme of strengthening systems for health. She is also a surgeon for pelvic disorders and specializes in minimally invasive approaches to colorectal disease.
