Kelsey Hummel, DO

Kelsey Hummel's global work focuses on capacity building for cancer diagnosis and treatment, and the development of innovative technologies in low-resource areas. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of strengthening health systems and developing technical solutions. Hummel's research aims to enhance the quality of pathology services through capacity building. This includes implementing creative and cost-effective telepathology solutions, providing education and consultation for pathologists, and conducting community outreach to make these services more accessible to patients.
