AI-guided point-of-care ultrasound and scalable clinical decision support

Jason Corso’s global health focus centers on developing technology that broadens access to healthcare capabilities for underserved populations, with a current emphasis on diagnostic point-of-care ultrasound. His interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health and developing technical solutions. Corso’s research focuses on how AI technology can augment and guide generally trained medical practitioners to perform specialist-level procedures, enabling training “on the fly” and supporting safer, higher-quality care in settings with limited specialist access.
