Sangeeta Khanna's global work focuses on teaching and training physicians, especially in underserved populations to increase specialized healthcare access and improve quality of care. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, strengthening systems of health and empowering women. As an ophthalmologist with international training, she values global exchange in medical education, training and developing equitable systems of health.
