Infectious disease, tropical medicine, immunocompromised and transplant patients

Dr. Lizbeth Cahuayme-Zuniga's global work focuses on infectious diseases in the tropics, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health and empowering women. Lizbeth aims to improve treatments for immunocompromised patients in underserved communities impacted by infectious diseases.
