Marjorie McCullagh’s global work focuses on COVID-19 vulnerability, particularly regarding co-morbidities and mental health, and informs understandings of the feasibility and acceptability of COVID-19 control measures such as social distancing, mask wearing, and hand hygiene in Liberia. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of strengthening systems for health. McCullagh developed and tested several novel interventions to promote use of hearing conservation strategies among this high-risk population nationwide.
