Health equity and justice

Melissa Creary’s global work focuses on utilizing a health equity lens to examine sickle cell disease. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Her work investigates how sickle cell disease policy, care and prevention is influenced by race and social class. Creary studies ways to change the discourse on justice.
