Allen Burton’s global work focuses on human exposure to chemicals, pathogens, and natural stressors using wildlife sentinels and environmental indices as indicators of potential risk. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health and providing technical solutions. Burton examines climate related stressors, chemical contamination, and enteric pathogen exposures. His work investigates how these stressors interact and impact both ecological and human health risk.
