Driving global rehabilitation initiatives and sustainable partnerships

Andrew Haig's global health work focuses on catalyzing medical rehabilitation worldwide by mentoring and teaching leaders through his role as president of the International Rehabilitation Forum, leveraging his expertise in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, particularly in work disability, back pain, and neurophysiology. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's themes of strengthening systems for health. Haig's research focuses on catalyzing leadership in rehabilitation in low-resource countries, with a particular emphasis on telemedicine education for specialists and developing sustainable business models. His expertise also extends to work disability, where he aims to catalyze sustainable partnerships between multinational companies, local businesses, and rehabilitation professionals.
