Ann Chih Lin, PhD

Ann Chih Lin’s global work focuses on the interaction of immigrants with health systems in regards to differential access by race/ethnicity, gender, language, and social class. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health and empowering women and communities. Lin studies policy implementation—the provisions that make policy easy or difficult to implement, the beliefs and behavior of people who implement policies, and the reactions of those who are targeted by policy. Lin also studies potential immigration policies, with a specific focus on Arab Americans.
