Environmental change and food systems for sustainable development

Arun Agrawal’s global work focuses on the intersection of climate change, food security, and agricultural development as these topics relate to hunger, sustainability and sustainable development. His interest in global health equity aligns with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Agrawal’s work examines the politics of international development, institutional change, and environmental conservation. His research interests focus on the decentralization of environmental policy and environmental change as a human concern related to hunger and food security.
