Brent Williams, MD, MPH

Global health competency, education, and training

As director of the Medical School's Global Health and Disparities Path of Excellence, Brent Williams matches students with faculty working in global health. Williams's interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, strengthening systems of health, and providing technical solutions. Williams has developed clinical programs to improve care and decrease inappropriate healthcare expenses among high-utilizing patients.
