Priscilla Busingye, MBChB

She/her/hers
Obstetrics and gynecology, surgical training, rural areas

Doctor Sister Priscilla Busingye's global work focuses on patient care practices and training for Maternal and Neonatal health professionals, especially surrounding surgical training, bedside manners, and birth injury repair restoring their dignity. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women, and strengthening systems for health. Busingye is an obstetrician and gynecologist in mission hospitals in underserved and rural areas in southwestern Uganda, aiming to develop an OB/GYN health center of excellence in Rwibaale for Banyatereza sisters institutes of consecrated life of which she is a member in Uganda.
