Dean Brenner, MD

Oncology and cancer prevention

Dean Brenner’s global work focuses on care technologies for cancer screening and detection. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of providing technical solutions. Brenner’s research focuses on the development and deployment of new and innovative strategies to identify and target pre-cancers and cancers. His work seeks to understand differences in genetic and environmental risk in diverse populations and ultimately to customize risk assessment tools, cancer detection biomarkers, and cancer risk reduction interventions.
