Dean Yang, PhD

Microfinance and international migration

Dean Yang’s global work focuses on community-level interventions to promote HIV testing and antiretroviral therapy adherence. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Most of Yang's work involves randomized controlled trials in field settings in low-resource countries. His other interests include migration, disasters, political economy, and international trade.
