Deb Rooney’s global work focuses on developing sustainable simulation-based training programs and systems and improving the quality of surgical care by improving industry engagement globally. Her research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of empowering women and communities and designing technical solutions for health equity. Rooney’s particular areas of interest include the application of modern measurement models for analyses of curricular impact on trainee performance and patient care.
