Dolorence Okullo, MHI, MIS

Data science, data integration systems, sustainability in global health care initiatives, health sector infrastructure

Dolorence Okullo’s global work focuses on creating better, data driven, and sustainable systems in resource-limited settings. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center’s themes of strengthening systems for health and developing technical solutions for health equity. Okullo has over ten years of experience looking at health sector structure and infrastructure in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. In her role at Michigan Medicine, she conducts analyses of clinical and performance data through applying knowledge of data analytics, population health, clinical information, and disease processes. She collaborates with Medical School faculty, practitioners, and staff to produce metrics to assess and improve performance.
