Erin Kahle, PhD, MPH

Sexual and reproductive health services
Erin Kahle’s global work focuses on biological, interpersonal, and structural factors associated with sexual and reproductive health in vulnerable and marginalized populations. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Kahle is an infectious disease epidemiologist whose research examines barriers to accessing prevention and healthcare and developing effective strategies to reduce adverse sexual and reproductive health outcomes. She has a particular interest in designing HIV prevention programs for sexual minorities within resource-limited settings.
