Jaclyn (Jackie) Goodrich, PhD

she/her/hers
Environmental exposures, maternal and child health, worker health, epigenetics

Jaclyn Goodrich’s global health work aims to identify chemicals and other environmental factors (nutritional deficiencies, social stressors) that adversely impact health. She also studies whether epigenetics is one biological mechanism linking environmental exposures to disease susceptibility. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Her research focuses on environmental exposures of concern to susceptible populations including pregnant women, children, and workers in many regions of the world. Goodrich's research informs environmental policy and prevention efforts aimed at protecting health and reducing environmental injustices.
