she/her/hers
Quality maternity care, women’s health, access to care, and reproductive rights

Jody Lori’s global work focuses on designing and testing innovative models of care to improve maternal and newborn health in areas of the world challenged by a lack of human resources, long distances to care, and cultural, gender, and socio-economic barriers. Her interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of empowering women and communities and strengthening systems of health. Lori's designs utilize a human rights framework to tackle maternal and newborn death through strengthening health systems and influencing reproductive health policy. She has extensive field work experience in Ghana, Liberia, Mexico, Zambia, Guatemala, and Ethiopia.
