Joshua (Josh) Greenberg, MD, PhD

Human rights, health and economic development, health service provision, governance and political economy

Joshua Greenberg's work addresses health and human rights, with a focus on the development of robust, systems-based solutions to improve access to healthcare. One strand of his research addresses the intersection between health and democracy, while a related strand addresses management, quality assurance, and quality control in the global health and development sector. His research is concentrated in Uganda, where he co-founded a community health organization. His interests in health equity align with the Center's themes of empowering women, strengthening systems for health, and social and environmental determinants of health.
