Kevin Martinez-Folgar is an impact scholar at the center whose global work focuses on chronic disease epidemiology and its intersection with urban environments in Latin America. His research interests in health equity align with the Center’s themes of addressing social and environmental determinants of health, strengthening systems for health, and developing technical solutions. Through the lens of multilevel and geospatial analysis, Kevin aims to identify and address healthcare access limitations and promote preventive measures through policy, especially in underserved communities.
