Transnational actors and politics of the environment, climate change and sustainable development
Omolade Adunbi’s global work focuses on factors that influence extractive practices, climate change, and sustainable development outcomes, with a particular focus on the Niger Delta, Nigeria, and West Africa. His interests in global health equity align with the Center theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Adunbi examines transnational institutions and NGOs to understand sustainable development in the context of economic inequality, climate change, environmental politics and governance. Some of his newer projects focus on the intersection of social media, climate change, and politics of the environment.
