Arts-based community development and community-based health programs

Larry Gant’s global health work focuses on mezzo practice and social planning. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems for health, addressing social and environmental determinants of health, and creating technical solutions. Gant’s research utilizes arts-based community development and community-based health programming to address health disparities emerging from syndemic-structural interactions, such as poverty, healthcare access and HIV/AIDS.
