Lee Schroeder, MD, PhD

Strengthening the delivery of laboratory services in low and middle income countries

Lee Schroeder’s global work focuses on using decision analytic approaches to model and improve the impact of laboratory medicine, specifically in low and middle income countries. His interests in global health equity align with the Center themes of strengthening systems of health and providing technical solutions. Schroeder’s research includes landscaping diagnostic availability, modeling and optimizing tiered laboratory networks, and aiding the development and implementation of the World Health Organization Essential Diagnostics List.
