Designing objective biological impact measures

Leon Espira was a member of the Center's inagural Impact Scholar cohort. His global work focuses on defining cross-disciplinary impact and developing environmental metrics for impact evaluation. His interests in global health equity align with the Center's theme of addressing social and environmental determinants of health. Espira has worked in Ethiopia, Mexico, and Myanmar, and his work at the Center built on his previous global work by liaising and collaborating with colleagues in Kenya. Espira is now an epidemiologist with the Gradient Corp science consultancy.
